BarrelHouse Brewing Co. ("BarrelHouse," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through barrelhousebrewing.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What this policy covers: this website (barrelhousebrewing.com) and the forms and signups available through it.
What this policy does not cover: our online store at shoponline.barrelhousebrewing.com, which is operated on Shopify and has its own Privacy Policy: https://shoponline.barrelhousebrewing.com/policies/privacy-policy, and the BarrelHouse mobile app, which is covered by a separate app privacy statement.
The Short Version
We collect the information you hand us — your name and email when you sign up for our newsletter, and whatever you enter on our forms — plus standard analytics about how people use our site. We use it to send you brewery news, respond to your requests, and make the website better.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this business, and only so they can do that job.

What we collect depends on the form and may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employment history, resume, and the details of your request.
Direct contact. If you email or call us, we keep the contents of that correspondence and your contact details.

Third-Party Tracking Across Websites
Some of the third parties listed above — particularly our analytics and advertising providers — may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites, including when you use our site. We do not control this collection.
You can limit some of it through:
Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on:tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Your Meta ad settings:facebook.com/adpreferences
Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out:optout.aboutads.info
Network Advertising Initiative opt-out:optout.networkadvertising.org
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. BarrelHouse does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We will update this section if that changes.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Turning off cookies may cause parts of our site to stop working the way they should.
Your Choices
Email. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email us and we will remove you.
Forms. Submitting a form is always optional. If you would rather not use a form, call or email us instead.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. Some information we are required to keep for legal, tax, or employment recordkeeping reasons.
No discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised any of these choices.
California Residents
This policy is provided in part to satisfy the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), which requires commercial websites collecting personal information from California residents to post a privacy policy describing the categories of information collected, the categories of third parties with whom it may be shared, third-party tracking practices, and the process for notifying users of changes. All of that is described above.
BarrelHouse does not currently meet the thresholds that make a business subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Regardless, we honor requests to access, correct, and delete personal information as described in "Your Choices" above, and we do not sell personal information.
Age Restriction
BarrelHouse Brewing Co. produces and sells alcoholic beverages. This website is intended for individuals 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21, and our website and marketing are not directed to children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Newsletter subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe. Job applicant information is kept for 24 months after the application. Form submissions are kept for 3 years.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and we rely on established providers — Squarespace, Mailchimp, JotForm, and Shopify — who maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
Our website links to other sites we do not control, including our online store, ticketing partners, social media platforms, and the app download page. This policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. If the change significantly affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will provide additional notice — by email to our newsletter subscribers, or by a notice on our homepage — before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the site after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
