SQUARE INVENTORY SOPs

Hey team, here are video instructions for handling inventory checks in your taproom using the new SQUARE FOR RETAIL (green icon) app on your master ipads. The process is much simpler than before, but there are some steps that are incredibly important. Check out the videos below, where Dan, our new Merch Manager, explains all the dets. Cheers!

FULL COUNTS

FULL COUNTS are used when we need a hard count of ALL inventory at you location. The important thing to note is when a FULL COUNT is completed, all items in inventory NOT accounted for will be ZERO’d out. Plus this should ONLY be performed when taproom sales are NOT active. For instance, before or after our open ours.

CYCLE COUNTS

CYCLE COUNTS are quicker, spot checks on specific inventory items. These can be performed during open hours, if we are aware of what is being sold, to ensure the items being counted and completed before any transactions take place.
