This isn’t your average “grab a plate and sit politely” BBQ.

This is the BarrelHouse Society BBQ… and it tends to get a little out of hand in the best way possible.

We’re bringing together a few hundred of our favorite people for an evening built around three things: ridiculous food, cold beer, and questionable competitiveness. Our crew is teaming up with Chris Beckett and his BBQ operation to throw down a spread that’s worth skipping lunch for… maybe even breakfast if you’re committed.

Doors open at 4PM. First move: grab a beer and find your people. Or don’t, you’ll make new ones fast.

After we’ve all done some damage to the BBQ, we’re flipping the switch. This year’s lineup of BarrelHouse games is designed to separate the casuals from the contenders. Expect bragging rights, a healthy amount of trash talk, and plenty of chances to stack tickets toward this year’s prize haul.

Around 8PM we officially wrap things up… on paper. In reality, we roll straight into live music in the beer garden with our Saturday night bands on the truck bed stage. Pace yourself. Or don’t. We’re not your parents.
