Ras Danny and the Reggae Allstars Bio -

Born and raised in Trenchtown, Jamaican reggae artist Ras Danny has been in integral component of the SLO County music seen for over 2 decades. A contemporary of Robert Nesta Marley, he has played with reggae legends like Black Uhuru, Lee Scratch Perry, and many others. He is the leader of "Ras Danny & the Reggae Allstars" as well as a local group "The Ites". Ras Danny and his band, has also played at Reggae on the River, and numerous other festivals over the years. He can be heard regularly around SLO County at venues like Frog n' Peach Pub, Otter Rock, among others. Ras Danny is a gifted artist, but more importantly, his heart is big as all outdoors. He travels each year to his hometown to bring school supplies and basic necessities to the children of Trenchtown.
