BarrelHouse Brewing Co. Mobile App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BarrelHouse Brewing Co. ("BarrelHouse," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information through the BarrelHouse Brewing Co. mobile app (the "App"). The App is operated on our behalf by TapWyse LLC, a software provider that acts strictly as our service provider. Your data belongs to BarrelHouse and to you. It is used only to run the App and our membership program.

This policy covers the App. Our website is covered by the privacy practices posted at barrelhousebrewing.com.

The Short Version

  • We collect only what we need to run your account, memberships, rewards, events, and purchases.

  • We do not sell your personal information.

  • We do not share your information with data brokers or advertising networks.

  • We do not use your information for cross app tracking or targeted advertising.

  • The App does not track your GPS location.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account or join a membership, we collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and a password. If you make purchases or redeem rewards, we keep a record of those transactions. If you send us a message through the App or fill in optional profile fields, we receive what you choose to share.

Payment information. Payments are handled by secure payment processors. We do not store your full card number on our systems.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly all mobile apps, the App collects basic technical information when you use it: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, how you interact with App features, a push notification token if you enable notifications, and crash reports if something breaks. This information helps us keep the App working and understand which features our members actually use.

What we do not collect. The App does not track or collect your GPS location. It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and manage your account and membership

  • Track and redeem your rewards and benefits

  • Process purchases and event reservations

  • Send push notifications you have opted into, such as event announcements and member offers

  • Respond to messages you send us through the App

  • Understand App usage so we can improve it

  • Keep accounts secure and prevent fraud or abuse

  • Comply with legal obligations

What We Never Do

  • We never sell your personal information.

  • We never share your personal information with data brokers.

  • We never share your personal information with third party advertising networks.

  • We never use your personal information for cross app behavioral advertising or targeted ads.

Service Providers

We work with a small number of service providers who help us operate the App. Each is contractually limited to using data only to provide services to us:

  • TapWyse LLC builds and maintains the App platform on our behalf.

  • Google Firebase / Google Analytics provides App usage analytics so we can see how members use App features.

  • Amplitude is used by TapWyse to monitor platform performance and usage.

  • Sentry provides crash and error reporting so bugs get fixed.

  • Airship delivers push notifications.

  • Payment processors handle purchase transactions securely.

Data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United States.

When We May Disclose Information

Beyond the service providers above, we may disclose personal information only:

  • To comply with a court order, law, or legal process, including a government or regulatory request

  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of BarrelHouse, our members, or others

  • In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of some or all of our business, in which case we will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy

  • With your consent

Your Choices

Push notifications. Turn them off any time in your device settings. The App works fine without them.

Marketing emails. Unsubscribe using the link in any email or by contacting us.

Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Contact us at marketing@barrelhousebrewing.com and we will respond promptly. We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as completed purchase records.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you remain free to exercise your rights to know, correct, and delete at any time.

Data Security

We use industry standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and secure hosting. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password confidential and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Age Requirements

The App and our membership programs are intended for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify members through the App or by email.
